Z-Tactical

The Z-Tactical COM 3 Headset is a full-duplex tactical headset with a standard military connector, designed to integrate with radio systems in operational shooting, hunting and professional use contexts. The boom microphone is adjustable, the headband is adjustable, and power comes from 2 AAA batteries to ensure field autonomy without relying on proprietary rechargeable packs.

External ambient microphones pick up environmental sounds in stereo, allowing the operator to maintain situational awareness while wearing the headset. This is the typical trade-off of passthrough-listening headsets: environmental awareness improves safety and team communication, but passive attenuation remains at the physical level of the earcup itself, with no amplification circuits or impulse-limiting. Those who need active protection with impulse compression should consider a dedicated solution.

The standard military connector requires a compatible PTT unit, sold separately, to connect the headset to the radio in use.
