The main body weighs 590 grams empty and accepts up to six 5.56 magazines or four 7.62 magazines, with the option to mix rifle and pistol magazines in the same configuration.

The real strength of this chest rig lies in its expansion logic: the back of the main body is fully covered in velcro, allowing you to attach the included front pouch, side pockets for radios or accessories, or simply mount it onto an existing plate carrier without replacing it. This means the MK4 can run standalone with the included H-harness, or integrate into a more complete system without buying additional components. The velcro panels inside both main pockets let you position dividers, inserts and accessories exactly where you need them, not where the manufacturer decided they should go.

The trade-off to consider involves the attachment system: the rear velcro provides a solid connection to a plate carrier and infinite adjustability, but does not offer the mechanical quick-release of a dedicated clip system. Operators who need emergency removal capability will need to assess whether to add a specific component or rely on the H-harness with its quick-release buckles. The included harness also features a MOLLE strip along the upper front section, useful for mounting a PTT or other accessories without taking up space on the rig body.
