The D3CRX's main advantage is its dual carry mode: worn directly on the torso with the integrated shoulder straps, it keeps the overall equipment profile low; mounted to a plate carrier via MOLLE tridents, it attaches and detaches in seconds without tools. This flexibility does come with a trade-off worth noting: the trident connectors transfer weight onto the underlying carrier, so lateral stability depends on the quality and tension of the MOLLE webbing on the vest it's mounted to.
