Back panel Wosport Scarab Tactical MOLLE — Black

The Wosport Scarab is a Cordura MOLLE back panel that attaches to the rear of a plate carrier or tactical vest via the MOLLE system. It measures 40x26 cm and weighs 500 g. It is designed to shift part of the load to the back, freeing up chest real estate and improving mobility, or allowing more ammunition to be carried at the front.

The upper pocket is stitched firmly to the panel and includes a removable insert with quick-release pull tabs: inside are 8 elastic loops for 40 mm grenades. The front of the same pocket features additional MOLLE webbing and a Velcro panel, useful for adding further pouches or ID patches without altering the base configuration.

The lower pocket is a rip-off IFAK: it is secured to the panel with Velcro and a buckled strap, but tears away in a single motion when medical access is needed. Inside, elastic loops organise the medical contents. The front features a small Velcro panel for a blood type patch and a document pocket. The trade-off to consider is this: the rip-off design offers maximum speed of access in an emergency, but requires manually re-securing the pouch after each use, unlike a side-release IFAK that stays in place at all times.
