Wosport QD Side Mount for Picatinny Rail — Black

Metal side mount for Picatinny rail, designed to accept a QD (Quick Detach) swivel for a sling. It fits on the lateral RIS rail of the stock or handguard and allows the sling to be attached or detached in a single motion, without tools, even one-handed.

The quick-release mechanism works by pressing the button on the swivel body: the internal spring compresses and releases the stud in a controlled manner. Compared to fixed loops or screw-in eyelets, this system lets the operator detach the sling without slowing down — a practical advantage in any situation where a rapid transition from primary to secondary is needed, or where the rifle must be set down quickly. The trade-off is inherent to the QD design itself: the instant release that makes the system so convenient is also why it is worth checking periodically that the button has not been accidentally pressed under pressure from the harness or surrounding gear.

All-metal construction provides mechanical strength appropriate to the weight and stresses of a rifle in active use, without adding any meaningful bulk. The mount locks onto the rail with a standard clamping screw, compatible with the Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 profile. The QD swivel is not included.
