Vector Optics Continental X8 1-8x24 ED SFP Fiber — Black

The Continental X8 1-8x24 is a second focal plane (SFP) riflescope with a 41-metre field of view at 100 metres at minimum magnification, designed for dynamic shooters and operators who need fast target acquisition at close range and sustained accuracy out to medium distances. The 30 mm 6061-T6 aluminium alloy tube houses an optical system using Schott HT, LaREE and ED glass with VePRO multi-coated treatment, achieving up to 93% light transmission for sharp, chromatically accurate images even in low-light conditions.

The German #4 reticle with a fibre-optic centre dot addresses one of the most common practical problems in dynamic shooting competitions and operational use: at 1x the reticle is open and does not obscure the target, allowing both-eyes-open aiming at the same speed as a red dot; stepping up to 8x, the fibre-optic dot replaces the fine crosshairs, maintaining high contrast even under intense direct sunlight without relying on a battery. The 11 illumination levels with an independent on/off switch allow intensity adjustments without losing the saved setting.

Elevation and windage travel is at least 280 MOA per axis — an exceptional figure for a 1-8x that allows the scope to be used on platforms with a distant ballistic zero, such as rifles chambered in subsonic calibres or with canted mounts. The 100 mm eye relief keeps the eyepiece at a safe distance from the brow on hard-recoiling calibres. IP67 certification and nitrogen purging ensure waterproofing and internal fog-proofing in any weather; shock resistance is rated to 1000 G.
