The Vector Optics Maverick RIS cantilever riser is a low-profile mount at 38 mm (1.5") designed to mount compact T1-format red dots on RIS/RAS systems, raising the sight line to the correct height for co-witness shooting with open iron sights or a ballistic helmet.

The cantilever geometry is not a cosmetic choice: it shifts the red dot forward of the rail attachment point, extending the sight radius without any noticeable effect on weapon balance. The result is a more natural shooting position, with the eye finding the dot without straining the neck forward.

Aluminium alloy construction provides recoil resistance on demanding calibres while keeping weight low: every gram saved at the front of the weapon reduces fatigue during extended sessions or dynamic operations. The black anodised finish protects against corrosion and cuts reflections in adverse lighting conditions.
