The SOURCE Storm valve kit replaces or upgrades the valve on hydration systems compatible with Quick Mate Technology (QMT). The angled push-pull valve lets you drink without biting the mouthpiece: a simple push-and-pull with the lips opens and closes the flow, keeping both hands free for other tasks.

The built-in shut-off locks the flow when the valve is not in use, preventing accidental leaks inside a pack or hydration carrier. Flow rate is comparable to a standard drinking straw — generous and effortless — which matters when you are moving hard and need to hydrate without breaking stride.

The key technical feature is the QMT tip: it lets you disconnect the valve from the tube in seconds, so the tube can be routed through tight openings — pack grommets, plate carrier channels, jacket loops — without dismantling the whole system. The trade-off to be aware of is that the push-pull design delivers high flow and easy maintenance, but requires an active lip movement to open and close the valve. Those used to a bite-valve with passive opening will notice a different feel.
