The CARINTHIA Eagle is a universally cut sleeping bag designed for those who need minimum packed volume with a wide temperature range. An internal length of 225 cm and a shoulder width of 80 cm make it suitable for users up to 190 cm tall, while a weight of 900 g and a compressed pack size of 16x21 cm place it firmly in the emergency and fast-move category.

Insulation is provided by G-LOFT Plus, a bi-component hollow-fibre fill whose three-dimensional structure traps air in a manner similar to down. The construction uses a single insulation layer that is not quilted through to the shell: the fill is sewn to an inner support layer while the outer shell floats freely, creating an additional air pocket without producing cold spots at through-stitching lines. The result is a comfort rating around 10 °C with a fill weight of 500 g. It is worth noting that this construction prioritises low weight and compressibility over extreme insulation: anyone operating regularly below the comfort zone limit should consider bags with heavier fill or a reinforcing bivy.

The footbox is trapezoidal rather than wedge-shaped. In a natural resting position the feet do not push the fill outward, preventing cold spots caused by fibre compression. The shell is 100% polyamide microfibre (Shelltrans), with the same weave on both the outer and inner faces, offering a surface that manages body moisture without stiffening. The bag compresses into the included stuff sack to 16x32 cm — a size that fits into any patrol or rescue pack without sacrificing usable volume.
