The VictOptics S4 3-12x40 is a second focal plane rifle scope designed for carbine shooters, hunters, and precision shooting enthusiasts looking for sharp optics and reliable adjustments in a compact package measuring 347 mm and weighing 500 g. With a variable magnification range of 3x to 12x over a 35 mm objective, it covers everything from close-range range sessions to medium-distance hunting engagements.

Fully multi-coated lenses deliver a sharp image edge to edge, with an exit pupil ranging from 12 mm to 3.33 mm across the magnification range — a figure that keeps the image usable even in low-light conditions typical of dawn and dusk hunts. The 96 mm eye relief keeps the ocular at a safe distance from the brow even on platforms with significant recoil, making mounting on centerfire calibres practical and safe.

MIL turrets with 1/10 MIL clicks offer precise adjustments with 18 MIL of travel per axis, enough for the corrections needed in hunting and variable-distance target shooting. The Turret Lock system holds the dialled position and prevents accidental shifts during transport or handling. The side focus, adjustable from approximately 9 metres, eliminates parallax across the full range of practical distances. The 6061-T6 aluminium body, nitrogen-purged and rated IPX4, provides moisture resistance and fog-proofing in variable outdoor conditions, with shock resistance certified to 750 G.
