The Perun 2 is a rechargeable headlamp from OLIGHT with a maximum output of 2500 lumens and a beam range of up to 166 metres. Designed for those who work or operate outdoors with their hands occupied, it combines headlamp and handheld torch functionality through its magnetic tail, without sacrificing either brightness or runtime.

The built-in proximity sensor automatically reduces beam intensity when the light source comes close to a surface — a feature that in practice prevents reflected glare during close-up work and conserves the battery when full power is not needed. In Turbo mode the light outputs 2500 lumens for the first minute, then steps down to 250 lumens to manage battery life and head temperature: a real-world trade-off worth knowing before relying on Turbo for extended sessions. For sustained high-output use, High mode — 500 lumens for 270 minutes — is the more balanced choice.

The 4000 mAh 21700 lithium-ion battery charges via the MCC3 magnetic cable, eliminating covers and exposed contacts. The aluminium alloy construction and IPX8 rating make the Perun 2 suitable for use in heavy rain and damp environments. The modest weight of 161 grams reduces fatigue on long outings. The magnetic tail allows the torch to be mounted on ferrous surfaces, freeing both hands.
