OLIGHT OCLIP 300 lm Torch — OD

OCLIP is an ultracompact rechargeable torch from OLIGHT designed for anyone who needs reliable light always within reach: it weighs 30 g, is barely larger than a pen, and can be clipped to a pocket, a cap brim, or any ferromagnetic surface thanks to the built-in magnet. The dual light source — white LED up to 300 lm and red LED at 4 lm — makes it useful both as a primary light in low-demand situations and as a night signal without compromising dark adaptation.

The 4 lm red light is the right choice when preserving night vision matters: red does not suppress rhodopsin the way white light does, so your eyes remain dark-adapted as soon as the torch goes off. It is not a replacement for a primary torch in high-output situations, but at a bivouac, during a night outing, or as an emergency signal it is the most practical mode available. The white beacon and red strobe modes add active signalling capability when visibility is critical.

The clip is rated for over 10,000 open-and-close cycles and maintains its grip on fabric, pack edges, and gear without loosening over time. Water resistance is rated IPX5 and the torch has passed drop tests from 1.5 m: it is not a tool for extreme environments, but it handles everyday outdoor use without issue. Charging is via USB-C with the included cable, removing the need to carry spare batteries.
