OLIGHT

The BALDR S is a compact tactical pistol light combining an 800-lumen LED and an adjustable green laser in a 66.5 mm body designed to stay within the muzzle line on compatible handguns. It is aimed at professional operators, hunters and shooters who need a fast identification and aiming tool in low-light conditions.

The peak output of 800 lumens delivers a beam range of up to 130 metres, useful for target identification at distance; after 90 seconds the thermal management steps output down to 500 lumens, then to 300 lumens after 38 minutes, protecting the battery and limiting heat build-up on the weapon during extended use. Those who prefer a steady output can select the 300-lumen mode directly, trading peak power for predictable runtime.

The green laser is windage- and elevation-adjustable to compensate for any offset relative to the mechanical sight line. Green laser light is more visible to the naked eye in daylight than red, but remains invisible to light-intensification night-vision devices unless they are IR-capable — worth keeping in mind when choosing complementary equipment. The quick-release mount fits both the Glock rail and Picatinny 1913 rails tool-free; the internal 380 mAh lithium-ion battery recharges via the included magnetic USB cable, so the unit does not need to be removed from the weapon for charging. The body is machined from aerospace-grade aluminium with a Type III hard-coat anodised finish.
