NOVRITSCH Hood Modular 3D Ghillie Suit Hood — Amber

The Hood Modular 3D Ghillie Suit is the hood from NOVRITSCH's modular airsoft line: it covers the head, back of the neck and face, leaving only the eyes exposed, and adjusts to a head circumference of up to 62 cm. It is designed for airsoft players operating in natural environments who want maximum silhouette disruption without sacrificing compatibility with the other components in the line or with the Ghillie Jacket from the same manufacturer.

The fabric is UV-treated and the open-mesh construction promotes airflow even during extended sessions. The Amber 3D leaves are calibrated for autumn environments, wooded areas with dry vegetation or terrain with yellowed grass: the colour is tuned to reduce the chromatic reflections typical of flat camouflage patterns. The front brim reduces facial glare without adding bulk.

The face veil is removable via quick-release attachment: when fitted it completes facial camouflage; when removed, it improves peripheral vision and verbal communication during movement phases. This trade-off is the central design choice of the hood: the veil provides full coverage in a static position, but can restrict close-range vision during an advance, which is why the quick-release system is more practical than a fixed veil. Press-stud buttons along the lower edge attach the hood to the Ghillie Jacket, eliminating any visible gap of skin at the neck. The hood is compatible with the NOVRITSCH LC System artificial leaf system, allowing further coverage to be added using artificial or natural vegetation.
