The Dual CamJam Tie Down System is a load-securing system consisting of a die-cast zinc alloy tensioning buckle and a polypropylene strap 25 mm wide and 305 mm long. It is designed to secure loads to vehicles, sleds, roof racks or field equipment whenever a fast, adjustable and reusable anchor point is needed — no knots required.

The buckle uses two independent cams working in sequence: the first allows the entire buckle to slide along the strap so it can be positioned exactly where tension is needed, without rewinding anything; the second locks the strap under load, gripping harder as the weight increases. The working load limit is 272 kg and the declared break strength is 816 kg — figures suitable for securing heavy gear on roof racks or tensioning covers over light trailers.

The system works in two distinct configurations. In the fixed-end configuration, the integrated loop on the strap hooks onto a fixed anchor point, the free end passes over or around the load, and the buckle tensions the strap without any knotting. In the loop configuration, the same strap forms a closed loop around the load, which is useful when both anchor points are on the same plane. The choice between the two depends on the load geometry: the loop configuration distributes pressure more evenly on cylindrical objects, while the fixed-end configuration is faster when the attachment points are far apart. The nickel finish on the buckle provides reasonable corrosion resistance, but the system is not intended for prolonged immersion.
