MAGPUL MS3 GEN2 Sling — Ranger Green

The MS3 GEN2 is a multi-configuration sling for rifle replicas that converts one-handed between single-point and two-point setups. It is designed for those who need to switch between configurations without taking their eyes off the target, and is declared by Magpul as a solution for both airsoft and operational use.

Switching between single-point and two-point configurations requires no tools and no loosening of the webbing: in single-point mode the replica stays centred on the body and frees both hands, while in two-point mode it distributes the weight across the shoulder and chest and reduces lateral movement of the weapon during transitions. Neither configuration is universally superior: single-point is faster for close-range transitions but offers less retention if the sling is accidentally released; two-point provides better stability but takes a moment longer to convert. The MS3 GEN2 lets you choose based on the context without swapping slings.

The low-profile adjustment buckle introduced with the GEN2 allows the webbing to be shortened or lengthened one-handed even when wearing gloves, without the adjustment slipping under load. The 32 mm wide nylon webbing incorporates hardened steel at the quick-detach points and technical polymer in the buckles, with NIR treatment on the coloured version to reduce the infrared signature in environments monitored with night-vision devices. Overall length has been increased compared to the GEN1 to accommodate different body types and setups involving a plate carrier or winter layering.
