The front panel of the rig is fully covered in velcro across the usable surface, allowing the included magazine pouch to be repositioned or swapped without tools in a matter of seconds. The front also features two zip utility pockets, two elasticated pouches for pistol magazines or small items, and two velcro ID panels. This open-top or elastic-retention approach speeds up both draw and reload, but provides less lateral retention than a positive snap closure: it is the right choice for those who prioritise access speed over passive magazine security.

Shoulder and waist straps are removable and adjustable, fitting the rig to different body shapes without replacing any components. The back panel features a velcro attach-and-release system that makes the rig compatible with any Viper Buckle Up carrier, while the internal velcro panel allows a dangler pouch such as the Viper VX Dangler or the included Scrote to be attached underneath. Quick-release buckles allow the entire setup to be removed quickly, a useful feature in contexts where rapid donning and doffing is part of the operational routine.
