The dual joint coverage reduces fatigue and prevents abrasions during dynamic shooting sessions, tactical training and high-intensity outdoor activities.

The outer shell in 900D Oxford fabric resists abrasion and holds its shape even after repeated use, without failing at the seams or deforming around the adjustment buckles. The choice of a dense technical fabric serves two purposes: protecting the outer shell from slide-induced tears and providing a stable base to anchor the internal structure.

The TPU protective insert absorbs and distributes impacts across the entire surface of the pad rather than concentrating them at a single point. TPU has an advantage over rigid foams: it retains a degree of flexibility even in cold conditions, making it suitable for year-round use without having to swap out gear. The trade-off is that soft-insert protection offers less lateral coverage than rigid polypropylene shells: for those requiring structural protection from strong lateral impacts — such as in urban environments with edges and hard corners — the choice should be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
