The Hot Weather Boonie is a wide-brim boonie hat designed for airsoft use in warm conditions, made from a combination of mesh and ripstop fabric in the classic Flecktarn pattern. The mixed construction balances direct ventilation with the mechanical durability of ripstop, resulting in a lightweight headwear option suited to long sessions in open terrain or woodland environments.

The choice of dual material — mesh and ripstop addresses a specific trade-off: the mesh maximises airflow and reduces heat build-up on the head, while the ripstop on the crown and brim provides enough structure to prevent collapse during movement. A full-mesh boonie offers even more airflow but sacrifices some shape retention; this mixed construction tends to hold its position even in wind or at a fast pace.

The brim features a tube routing channel that allows the ventilation tube of protective eyewear to pass through without coming loose at the edge — a practical solution when wearing masks or goggle systems with integrated anti-fog. On the back there are velcro and springs to house batteries or external anti-fog units, keeping them out of your pockets during play. The hat is machine washable at 30 °C with a mild detergent and should be dried at low temperature.
