The Single Point Bungee Sling is a single-point sling with an elastic insert designed for those who need to keep their rifle within reach while maintaining full freedom of movement. The 30 mm heavy nylon webbing provides durability without adding unnecessary bulk, while the bungee section absorbs sudden movements and reduces weapon oscillation during movement.
The single-point setup is the most common choice among those operating in confined spaces or who need to transition frequently between the weapon and free hands: the rifle drops in front of the body naturally, without having to detach it. The trade-off to keep in mind is that, compared to a two- or three-point sling, the single point transfers all the weight to one side of the body and leaves the weapon free to swing laterally. For short outings or dynamic use this is an advantage; over longer distances it can become tiring. The bungee insert partially mitigates this by absorbing bounce, but does not eliminate it entirely.
The weapon attachment uses a metal quick-release with a protective cover, which reduces the risk of accidental opening while still allowing detachment in a single motion. Three nylon quick-release buckles complete the setup, allowing length adjustment and full removal of the sling without threading anything through, making it practical when switching between operators or changing kit.
Key points
- The 30 mm heavy nylon webbing distributes load without digging in and holds up to extended use.
- The bungee elastic insert reduces weapon oscillation during movement and takes some stress off the body.
- The metal quick-release with protective cover allows rapid weapon detachment while minimising the risk of accidental release.
- The three nylon quick-release buckles allow full length adjustment and immediate sling removal without threading the webbing.
- The single-point design provides maximum freedom of movement and fast transitions to free hands, at the cost of less lateral support compared to two-point solutions.
