FMA Vault Equipment Case — Desert

The FMA Vault Equipment Case is a hard-sided case in composite PP plastic designed for the secure transport of sensitive equipment: optics, precision components, medical kits, or anything that cannot tolerate impacts and vibration. The internal dimensions of 330 x 260 x 140 mm offer a manageable volume that is easy to carry without getting in the way, while the external footprint stays compact at 390 x 290 x 148 mm.

The interior is organised on two distinct levels: one side holds egg-crate foam that distributes impacts across the entire surface, the other a modular pick-and-pluck foam insert. The combination reflects the typical trade-off of this format: egg-crate foam protects irregularly shaped items well without any preparation, but does not lock the contents in place; the modular foam lets you carve out a custom fit for each individual item, holding everything precisely so nothing shifts even during vehicle transport. Those who change the contents frequently will likely leave the egg-crate foam as is; those who always carry the same configuration can remove the blocks once and end up with a dedicated fit.

The pressure equalization valve prevents the difference in pressure between the inside and outside — common during air travel or changes in altitude — from making the case hard to open or affecting the latch behaviour. The side hasp allows you to fit a padlock of your choice, keeping the contents inaccessible to anyone without the key. The rigid handle provides a secure grip even with gloved hands.
