The FMA M720V Upgraded is an enhanced version of the classic M720V-style weapon light, designed for Picatinny rail mounting on rifles and carbines. At 9.6 cm in length and 3.3 cm in bezel diameter, it keeps a compact profile without sacrificing the durability of the anodised aluminium body. The 270 g weight is distributed so as not to meaningfully affect weapon balance.

The rotating selector on the body cycles through three white-light modes — high, medium and strobe — without changing your grip. The IR selector is physically present but the infrared function is not active in this version: anyone working with night-vision devices should factor this in before purchasing. The clamping lever locks the light to the rail without tools, while the tail switch allows instant activation with the thumb or the palm of the non-dominant hand — the preferred method in dynamic use. A double press on the tail switch triggers strobe mode, useful for disorienting a subject in low-light conditions.

Power comes from 2 CR123A or 16340 3.6 V cells (not included), with a stated runtime of around 4 hours on medium.
