The FMA MALICE Clip Long is a nylon adapter designed to attach pouches and holsters to MOLLE systems when the original straps are damaged, incompatible, or simply too cumbersome. At 12.7 cm in length, it spans more rows of webbing than the short version, spreading the load over a larger area and reducing pouch movement during activity.
The clip works on a press-fit principle with an integrated lock: it inserts into MOLLE loops from top to bottom and secures without tools. This makes it faster to install than a traditional strap requiring weaving, but it does mean you need to choose the right position before locking it in, since frequent repositioning stresses the retention teeth over time. For permanent or semi-permanent setups it is the most practical option; for those who regularly reconfigure their pouches, it is a trade-off worth weighing against traditional weaving.
The nylon construction keeps the clip under 50 g, which matters on systems already carrying significant weight. The Long version is particularly suited to medium and large pouches — wide-paddle holsters, double magazine pouches, utility pouches — where the 7.6 cm short version would not provide sufficient grip.
