FMA EXFIL Headset and Helmet Rail Adapter Set GEN2 — FG

The FMA EXFIL Headset and Helmet Rail Adapter Set GEN2 is a side-mount system designed to replace the uncomfortable rigid headband of tactical headsets, allowing MSA-compatible hearing protection to be mounted directly onto the side rails of EXFIL-series helmets. The result is a more stable fit, a lower profile, and the ability to put on or remove the headset without taking the helmet off.

Mounting is done with two knurled thumb screws that slide along the helmet's side rail: the nut is already seated in the rail channel, so installation requires no tools and no disassembly of other components. The position can be adjusted along the full length of the rail to suit different head shapes and to find the correct alignment with the ear. Once tightened, the screws keep the system secure even during heavy movement, yet are quick enough to loosen when a configuration change is needed.

The GEN2 is designed for SORDIN systems and MSA-standard headsets, as well as many of their replicas. The adapter offers two positions — open and closed — allowing the headset to be lowered over the ear or raised to the side of the helmet in seconds, without detaching the whole assembly. Cable routing can run inside or outside the helmet shell depending on preference, keeping the setup tidy. The Forest Green (FG) colour integrates with camouflage configurations in green and forest multicam tones.
