Fenix SW05R-UV White and UV Light Torch — Black

The Fenix SW05R-UV is a compact rechargeable torch that combines two light sources in a 55 g body: white light up to 150 lumens with a beam reach of 39 metres, and ultraviolet light at 365 nm with an output of 1500 mW. At 81×35×18 mm, it suits anyone working in confined spaces or needing a tool that stays available in a pocket or clipped to their kit.

The 200° rotating head lets you aim the beam without moving the torch body — useful during technical inspections, document verification or trace detection with UV light, where precise beam direction matters more than with a fixed-head lamp. The UV light at 365 nm is the effective wavelength for fluorescence detection on surfaces, residues and treated materials — a different wavelength from the common 395 nm, sharper at excluding visible-spectrum spill.

The built-in 700 mAh battery charges via USB-C in approximately 2 hours and can be used while charging. Maximum runtime of 49 hours is achieved at the lowest 5-lumen mode, useful for prolonged signalling or orientation; at full power, managing expectations is part of the choice: 150 lumens in a pocket format cannot compete with an 18650-cell torch, but the size difference is radical. The clip and magnetic base allow attachment to metal surfaces or fabric without extra accessories. The CNC-machined aluminium alloy body with anodised finish and IPX6 certification ensure resistance to heavy rain and drop resistance up to 1 metre.
