FENIX AOD-M Diffuser

The Fenix AOD-M is a high-quality optical diffuser that mounts in seconds onto torch heads with a diameter between 34 and 40 mm, turning them into a 360° lantern suited for bivouacking, reading in a tent, or any situation where a focused beam is counterproductive.

The diffuser's purpose is to soften and spread light evenly around the source. Where a tactical torch throws an intense directional cone, the AOD-M disperses the output around the full perimeter — useful when working inside a shelter, cooking at camp, or lighting an area without blinding those nearby. The trade-off to bear in mind is that this gain in spread comes at the cost of throw: the same torch that reaches out in spot mode gives up intensity for coverage once the diffuser is fitted.

Attachment is by direct press-fit onto the torch head, with no screws or tools: it goes on and off in seconds, making it practical to carry as a spare accessory during a hunt or a hike. The impact-resistant construction makes it suitable for outdoor use without any special care.
