The Strike Systems Compact Red Dot is a micro-format open red dot sight designed for low-profile airsoft builds on pistols, compact carbines and rifles. Its small footprint makes it compatible with any platform where minimising vertical height is a priority.

A red dot lets you acquire the target without aligning a traditional iron-sight plane: the eye finds the dot and the shot breaks, even in dynamic situations where reaction time is tight. On an airsoft pistol this advantage is most noticeable during target transitions, where picking up iron sights would require a longer visual cycle.

It mounts on any Picatinny rail using the hex key included in the box. Power on and off is handled with one hand, without lowering the weapon or hunting for an awkward control. Total weight is 54 grams, a figure that does not affect weapon balance even on the lightest platforms. Power comes from a CR2032 battery, one of the most widely available cells around. As with all open red dots, the lens is exposed: this gives the widest possible field of view and no restriction on peripheral vision, but the optical surface needs care during storage and transport to avoid scratches.
