The rear selector switches between four distinct reticle shapes, each adjustable across 7 brightness levels. This means the same sight works in bright conditions — where a strong, clearly visible dot is needed — and in low light, where excessive brightness causes bloom and dot spread, reducing aiming precision. Having seven steps lets you find the right level without trading off visibility against dot definition.

The front lens has an anti-reflection coating that cuts lateral glare. On an open red dot this matters: the housing is exposed to the environment, and reflections off the lens can give away a position or make the dot hard to read when shooting into the light. The typical trade-off of this design remains unchanged: the open format is lighter and more compact than a tube-style red dot, but offers less protection from the elements and less resistance to the lens in the event of drops or side impacts.
