CYGNUS ARMORY FAST XP Premium Helmet — Coyote

The CYGNUS ARMORY FAST XP Premium is a high-cut helmet designed for competitive airsoft and milsim use, built around a 14 mm UHMWPE fibre shell and an OCC Dial retention system covering head circumferences between 55 and 60 cm. The protective area is 0.12 m² or greater, with an overall weight of 1,650 g.

UHMWPE — ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene — delivers greater structural rigidity at the same wall thickness compared to common thermoplastics, and the powder-coat finish adds surface resistance to the impacts and abrasion a helmet typically takes in the field. At 1,650 g this is a substantial piece of kit: the weight becomes noticeable in long sessions, but the full shell provides lateral and top coverage that low-cut helmets cannot match. The XP geometry suits those who need maximum frontal and temporal protection in enclosed CQB scenarios; anyone who prioritises lightness over extended movement may prefer a lower-cut profile.

The ARC side rails allow ARC-compatible tactical hearing protection to be mounted directly, without adapters, while the external Velcro panels let you attach accessories, patches and a front NVG mount — the NVG interface surface is already integrated into the shell. The chin strap is adjustable and the internal pads are removable, so fit can be tuned to individual head shape and to wearing a balaclava or tactical cap underneath.
