The Vector Optics Constantine 1-8x24 FFP is a first focal plane LPVO designed for dynamic shooters, professional operators and hunters looking for a compact, versatile optic that covers the full range from close quarters to medium-distance shooting. Built around a 30 mm 6061-T6 aluminium tube, it measures 274 mm in length and weighs 500 g, fitting any platform without upsetting the weapon's balance.

True 1x magnification allows both-eyes-open shooting at close range, while the range up to 8x delivers the resolution needed for medium-distance targets without the dark ring at the edge of the image that affects lesser designs. Fully multi-coated lenses with extra-low dispersion glass reduce chromatic aberration and sustain high light transmission even in poor light — a meaningful factor during dawn and dusk hunting or in indoor environments. The VOF-EHT reticle is etched on the first focal plane, so subtension sizes remain proportional to the target regardless of the magnification in use, keeping range estimates and on-the-fly corrections valid at any zoom level.

The capped turret adjustment system operates with 1/10 MIL clicks for precise zeroing, with more than 35 MIL of travel per axis — enough to handle substantial corrections without losing mechanical centre. The 90 mm eye relief keeps the ocular at a safe distance from the brow even on hard-recoiling calibres. Red illumination with 11 brightness levels, powered by a CR2032 battery, lets the reticle be matched to any background condition. IPX6 waterproofing, nitrogen anti-fog fill and shock resistance rated to 1000 G round out a technical profile suited to field use in adverse conditions.
