Helikon-Tex Competition Utility Pouch — Black

The Competition Utility Pouch is an accessory pouch designed for the dynamic shooter and multigun competitor who needs to keep ear protection, glasses, a timer and other frequently used gear within reach during a match or training session. Originally designed as part of the Helikon-Tex Competition MultiGun Rig system, it works equally well as a standalone pouch thanks to the modular attachment system built into the back panel.

The back panel is compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system and also allows direct mounting on belts up to 50 mm wide, with no additional adapters. This dual compatibility is the pouch's main practical advantage: those running the full rig can hang it below the chest panel, while those preferring a lighter setup can move it to the belt without changing anything. The body is made from Cordura 500D, a fabric that offers solid abrasion resistance while keeping weight down — a sensible choice for range use where durability matters more than weather protection.

The main compartment is roomy and zip-closed, keeping contents in place during fast movement between stages. The zip is a reliable fastener, more secure than an open-top elastic closure, though it takes a few extra seconds to access compared to an open pouch — an acceptable trade-off for items retrieved between runs rather than mid-sequence. The front loop panel lets you personalise the pouch with patches or visual markers for quick identification in your kit.
