The dual-lens construction creates an air gap that reduces fogging without relying on chemical coatings that degrade over time.
ANSI Z87.1, EN 16321-1 and STANAG 2920 certification confirms the ballistic resistance of the lenses: STANAG 2920 is the NATO reference standard for high-velocity fragment protection, a requirement that most standard safety eyewear does not meet. The TPR frame is flame-resistant, making it suitable for operational environments where this property is explicitly required by specification.
The open-frame design promotes airflow around the lenses, reducing heat build-up during extended use. This is the typical trade-off of vented goggles: ventilation controls fogging effectively and passively, but provides a less airtight seal than a full-seal mask — those working around chemical agents or liquids should factor this in.
