BAOFENG Tactical Folding Antenna SMA-F 108 cm

Rubber folding antenna with SMA female connector, designed for BAOFENG handheld radios and compatible with a wide range of other devices fitted with an SMA male connector. At full extension it reaches 108 cm, and folds back on itself to reduce bulk during transport or storage, while remaining ready to deploy in a matter of seconds. It is well suited to airsoft use, where reliable radio coverage between teams improves coordination in the field.

Operating on 144 MHz and 430 MHz with a gain of 5 dBi means the antenna concentrates the signal relative to an omnidirectional reference antenna, improving effective range without increasing transmitted power. The physical length of 108 cm is the longest option in the BAOFENG range, which also includes 47 cm and 72 cm variants: greater gain and range come at the cost of a longer, more visible element — a trade-off worth weighing against the operational environment. Maximum supported power is 20 W, with an impedance of 50 ohm.

The folding mechanism reduces bulk on the move, but the hinge should be handled with care: a folded antenna that takes a glancing blow recovers better than a rigid one, but the pivot point is the area most subject to wear over time. The rubber material provides flexibility and absorbs light impacts. Compatibility is broad: beyond the BAOFENG UV-5R and UV-82 series, the antenna works with Quansheng, AnyTone, Puxing, Wouxun, Alinco and Yaesu devices equipped with an SMA male connector.
