The red dot mount plate for the Novritsch SSP2 is a CNC-machined aluminium adapter that allows fitting a micro red dot on the SSP2 airsoft replica, positioning it at an elevated height above the pistol's slide rail. The ambidextrous design makes it compatible with both right- and left-hand grip configurations.

The elevated mount height is not an aesthetic choice: it serves to keep the red dot clear of the slide's travel path during the recoil cycle. As long as the shooter controls the replica's movement, the sight picture remains stable. A lower mount would expose the red dot body to mechanical interference with the slide, making the setup unreliable or unusable.

The primary compatibility is with the Novritsch Red Dot Micro V2, for which the plate was designed. Mounting a Red Dot Micro V3 is functionally possible, but the manufacturer notes that the result is not aesthetically clean: the geometries do not align perfectly. Anyone fitting a V3 should treat it as a non-optimal adaptation, not a supported configuration.
