PYROSOFT Pyro-F1M Hand Grenade

The Pyro-F1M is a pyrotechnic hand grenade for airsoft, speedsoft and military re-enactment, modelled on the Soviet F1 grenade. The M variant included is filled with chalk and talc powder: on activation it produces an acoustic blast and a white powder cloud that visually simulates smoke.

The safety mechanism mirrors that of a real grenade: the lever must be held pressed against the body until the moment of throwing, and the striker is released only when the lever is let go. The 4–5 second delay between release and detonation replicates real operational timing and allows the throw to be coordinated with squad movement. This fidelity to the original design also makes it useful for practical grenade-handling training before taking it into the field.

The certified IP66 water resistance ensures reliable function even in heavy rain or brief water contact, without compromising the ignition. The Pyro-F1M is classified as a P1 pyrotechnic device under EN 16263-3: sale is restricted to persons aged 18 and over, and use is permitted only in areas specifically authorised for airsoft pyrotechnics. It is worth noting that the powder cloud does not have the persistence of real smoke, but the acoustic effect is sharp and the impact area is marked immediately.
