The P-67P is the training variant of the PYROSOFT airsoft hand grenade in the metal powder configuration: a class P1 pyrotechnic device (EN 16263-3), designed for airsoft and milsim training sessions where realistic weight and handling matter as much as safety. The ABS plastic body weighs 400 g, matching the service weight of a NATO grenade, and the lever mechanism with pull ring faithfully replicates the real deployment procedure.
A delay of 3–4 seconds from activation gives enough time to throw and take cover: the lever, held in the hand until release, is freed by the striker spring producing an audible click, followed by an acoustic detonation with dispersal of metal powder that visually simulates an explosion's smoke cloud. The P variant does not expel peas or chalk powder, so the effect is primarily acoustic and kinetic — suited to environments where physical marking of operators is unnecessary or unwanted.
IP66 water resistance allows use in rain and in scenarios involving brief immersion: a practical requirement for outdoor exercises without having to factor in weather conditions. The mechanical safety lever ensures the grenade cannot deploy unintentionally as long as the hand maintains its grip: correct procedure requires keeping the lever pressed firmly against the body until the moment of throwing, and never holding an armed grenade with the lever already released.
Key features
- Weight of 400 g matching the NATO standard: training in handling and throwing transfers directly to real-world procedure.
- Consistent and reliable activation delay of 3–4 seconds: allows the throw to be timed without unpredictable variables.
- Metal powder fill: acoustic detonation with a visual smoke effect, without physically marking operators in the area.
- IP66 rating: functions in heavy rain and withstands brief immersion without compromising ignition.
- Compliance with pyrotechnic class P1 (EN 16263-3): sale restricted to adults, in accordance with European pyrotechnics regulations.
- Manual-grip safety lever: the grenade remains inert until the hand opens, eliminating the risk of accidental activation during operational carry.
