The Aim-O XPS 2-0 is an open, low-profile red dot designed for shooters who need fast target acquisition without adding bulk to their setup. Its compact footprint works equally well on a crowded carbine rail or on a handgun fitted with a 20 mm Picatinny rail.

The open design — no tube surrounding the reticle — maximises the field of view and keeps overall system weight down: the shooter can acquire the target with both eyes open without the sight body interfering with peripheral vision. The trade-off is that the reticle is more exposed to weather and lateral impacts than it would be in a closed-body design. In demanding operational conditions this should be treated as a known compromise, not an unexpected limitation.

Power comes from a single CR123 battery, a widely available and easy-to-source format. The integrated mount attaches directly to a 20 mm Picatinny rail with no additional adapters, keeping the overall profile low and minimising play in the mount.
