The red triangular reticle sets itself apart from conventional circular dots: the triangle's apex draws the eye to a precise point without masking the target with a wide blob. At distances between 10 and 50 m, where open reflex sights perform best, this geometry lets the shooter stay aware of the area around the point of impact.
