Aim-O 1x32 Open Red Dot — Desert

The Aim-O 1x32 is an open red dot sight with fixed 1x magnification and a 32 mm objective, designed for fast target acquisition at short to medium range on rifles, carbines or shotguns. The open frame design makes target acquisition immediate: no tube to align, natural binocular vision, reticle superimposed on the scene with both eyes open.

The 32 mm objective provides a wide enough window that the shooter does not need to hunt for the dot: bring the rifle to your face and the reticle is already in view with no adjustment. The 370 g weight is standard for this category and compatible with tactical builds without upsetting the weapon's balance. Power comes from 3 LR48 batteries — small flat cells that are easy enough to find, though it is worth keeping spares on hand as they are less common than AA or CR2032 types.

An open red dot offers faster target acquisition than a closed tube and a mechanically simpler construction. The trade-off is reduced protection for the internal optics against dirt, rain from the side and glancing impacts: in prolonged field use or harsh weather, a closed red dot provides better sealing.
