Aim-O 1-4x24 Tactical Scope LPVO — TAN

The Aim-O 1-4x24 is an LPVO (Low Power Variable Optic) with a variable magnification range of 1x to 4x and a 24 mm objective lens, designed for shooters who want a single optic that handles both close-quarters engagements and medium distances out to a few hundred metres. The compact length of 223 mm and weight of approximately 600 g make it a practical fit for AR-pattern carbines, tactically configured rifles, and dynamic shooting platforms.

At 1x, the field of view is wide enough to shoot with both eyes open, much like a red dot — this is the setting for tight engagements or fast transitions between positions. Dialling up to 4x provides enough detail to identify and engage targets at medium range, without the bulk of a higher-power tube. The trade-off worth understanding is this: 4x does not replace a precision scope at long range, but it covers the distance bracket where an LPVO genuinely earns its place — roughly 0 to 200–300 metres with a single optic always on the rifle.

The crosshair reticle is illuminated in red and green with 5 brightness levels, adjustable to suit both full daylight and low-light conditions. Illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery (not included) and can be switched off while leaving the black reticle visible in daylight. Multi-coated lenses reduce internal reflections and improve light transmission, a useful quality in twilight conditions. The metal body is waterproof and fog-proof, with scratch-resistant surfaces that protect the optical coatings over time. The included mounts are compatible with 20 mm Weaver/Picatinny rails, so no additional hardware is needed for installation.
