With a 0.7 mm tip, a length of 68 mm and a diameter of 2 mm, it replaces a spent refill without tools and puts the pen back in service within seconds.

Schmidt is one of Europe's benchmark manufacturers for ballpoint refills: the Mine 635 M delivers black ink with a consistent, smear-free line even on rough or slightly damp surfaces – conditions common in operational or outdoor settings. Compliance with the D1 ISO 12757 standard ensures dimensional compatibility with all pen bodies that use this format, not just the Fenix T6.

Compared to an off-spec generic refill, the ISO-certified dimensional tolerance eliminates axial play inside the refill chamber, which would otherwise result in an inconsistent line and premature wear of the advance mechanism. The trade-off of a 0.7 mm tip is the one typical of the fine format: maximum legibility on small areas – forms, labels, quick notes – at the cost of slightly greater sensitivity to writing pressure compared to broader tips.

Key features

D1 format to ISO 12757: fits without adapters into any pen body compatible with this standard.

0.7 mm tip for a fine, legible line even in confined spaces such as forms and field notes.

Manufactured in Germany by Schmidt Technology, an established reference maker for quality ballpoint refills.

Length 68 mm, diameter 2 mm: standardised dimensions ensuring precise, play-free insertion.

Black oil-based ink: flows cleanly on standard paper, glossy paper and partially damp surfaces.

In the box

1 Schmidt Mine 635 M refill, black ink
