At 220 mm long and weighing 92 g, it reproduces the dimensions and balance of a standard civilian knife, allowing training sessions with geometry that closely matches the real thing.

The Soft version is distinguished by the reduced hardness of its ABS polymer: the material absorbs some of the impact during contact drills, lowering the risk of bruising compared to a harder variant. This compromise does, however, have clear limits: the rounded tip and body flexibility do not eliminate the risk of bruising from repeated strikes or strikes applied with excessive force. The manufacturer expressly recommends against using excessive force and, in an airsoft context, advises limiting use to simulating contact without performing cutting or thrusting movements. The TK-02-S remains an object with a blunt point and should be handled with the same precautions as any training tool.

Regulations governing training knives vary by country: use is generally permitted in controlled environments — gyms, airsoft events whose rules allow it, professional courses — but carrying one in a public place without justification may constitute an offence. Always check the event rules and local legislation before use.

Key Features

Length of 220 mm and weight of 92 g matching a standard civilian knife, for a realistic grip and balance during training.

Soft ABS polymer: absorbs some impact during contact drills, reducing the risk of bruising compared to harder variants.

Rounded tip that eliminates the risk of cuts without fully removing the risk of bruising — controlled force is still required at all times.

Suitable for airsoft use where event rules permit training knives, with contact-only technique.

Durable polymer construction designed for intensive sessions and repeated use over time.

In the Box

ESP TK-02-S training knife (Soft version, Black)
